On Practical Vs. Principaled Politics

Topic of discussion:

Practical politics and principled politics is neither.

Discuss.

Isn’t it worrying that the only issue of outrage is pretty safe and apolitical?

Isn’t it worrisome that fear of getting a ticket for not having the proper permits to sell cupcakes is enough of a ticket to dissuade one from doing it?

I worry that the voices of the revolution have to come from the outside, particularly from those who have the option to return to their own countries; a luxury I wish I had.

Why do we have to choose between selling out and doing what’s right?

Or maybe not doing at all and just sitting around thumbing between American Idol and America’s Next Top model...

Who was the wise man who said, “Fuck that!” ?

Oh right, he’s dead...
